Gender aspects in research funding

The innovative potential of the gender category for research has been recognized by the League of European Research Universities (LERU), the DFG, the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments, and the EU Horizon. They make the inclusion of gender aspects in research a decisive quality feature and evaluation criterion. Since then, all researchers are required to address gender aspects in their research at the latest when applying for third-party funding. 360° develops support services for the acquisition of third-party funding and anchors them at Hamburg’s universities.

Taking gender aspects into account in research strengthens Hamburg as a research location and increases the international competitiveness of German universities.
