The Central Library for Women’s Studies, Gender & Queer Studies is the largest university library on these topics in Germany. In 2024, we’ll celebrate our 40th anniversary!

No ID or registration is required to use the library—we’re here for everyone!

Borrow an unlimited number of books from the library for free.

The library is open from 10 am until 4 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please note the following terms of use:

It isn’t possible to borrow media stored in our closed stacks, achive materials, or magazines. These are available for reference only.

No fees apply to reserve items. If media on loan are reserved, we ask that they are returned before their due date.
